About Me: I am currently pursuing a M.A.Ed. in Educational Technology at the University of Connecticut, where I received a B.A. in Interactive Digital Media. My undergraduate program was interdisciplinary and combined elements from Communications, Web Design, and Publishing. I also minored in English and hold a Concentration in Creative Writing. I am best known for my projects at UConn, as well as my comic strip DiGG. I began working on websites in 1998 and I now work full-time as Lead Web Developer for the Office of Student Financial Aid Services. I also am a core member of UConn's Software Licensing Group.
Objectives: My professional objective is to create robust and usable interfaces that are dynamic enough for today's web. My personal objective is to enrich my understanding of the world while participating actively in it.
Interests: I am interested in the arts, science, history, and politics. This site is an introduction to my professional work and is intended to give a glimpse into my personality. For a more personal space, I have set up a blog.
Miscellaneous: I have become enamored with GNU/Linux and free software in general. My current "homebrew" project is an entertainment system centered around a MythTV PVR and my current favorite distribution is Ubuntu.
